We are proud announce that we have been awarded WISE organisation of the year 2026!
Receiving this award is a tremendous honour, and being shortlisted was an achievement in itself. We’re proud to be recognised for the progress we’ve made over the past year in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion across Synoptix.
As part of our WISE membership, we complete an annual HR Diagnostic against their Gender Equity Framework. The WISE Gender Equity Framework gives a structured, comprehensive and evidence-based approach to EDI by providing clear guidance, good practice, and practical solutions that can be embedded across an organisation to support inclusive and equitable workplaces for women.
Designed to bring consistency and clarity to EDI efforts, the framework helps organisations take a strategic and measurable approach, aligning initiatives with long-term goals grounded in impact. The scoring is based on the extent to which each response reflects established good practices, with scores aggregated to produce a total for each pillar.
The Gender Equity Framework is structured around five key pillars and sections:
• Data
• Attraction
• Progression
• Retention
• Engagement
2025 marked the first year we submitted a response to the diagnostic. We achieved an overall score of 25%, with our lowest scores in Attraction at 12% and Data at 22%, highlighting key areas for development and future improvement.
In one year, we increased our WISE Gender Equity Framework score from 24% to 41%, reflecting a strategic and evidence led approach to change. Through investment of our people, inclusive practices and workplace culture, we embedded gender equity across the business. Creating an environment where inclusion is visible, valued and actively championed.
While we faced strong competition from Playground Games and Ultra Maritime, our standout achievement was the substantial increase in scores across every pillar of the framework, highlighting just how far we have come over the last year.
